North East England translation firm, Williams Language Solutions, won Best Digital User for Online Learning in the 2007 North East Digital Awards.  Managing Director, Stephania Williams (pictured above), won an award for her website.

Business Language champion Ian Ramsey (pictured above) talks about his passion for foreign languages and how vital it is to increase the number of school pupils learning a language for the future of businesses across North East England and beyond.  A British peace activist recently learnt a valuable lesson on his attempt to walk from Britain to India without spending a penny. Mark Boyle quit his trek after getting to France and finding he needed to speak French.

This one-day Info-Day will take place in Brussels on 24 June. It will offer a useful opportunity for partners in the North East of England looking to the Culture 2007-2013 Programme and will see hundreds of potential project applicants brought together.
