Beata Kohlbek - Union Language Centre Beata Kohlbek completed her PhD in Literature at the University of Glasgow and set up The Union Language Centre in Northumberland in 2003. This is the only UK residential language school offering intensive and customised German and Polish language courses. Dr Kohlbek has 15 years of experience in teaching languages, translating and interpreting. She is Polish-German, fluent in English and has worked at universities and colleges in Germany and Britain, most recently at Edinburgh University. Her team of native speakers offer excellent training opportunities to businesses and individuals. Amongst ULC's clients are the UK Public Sector (Police Forces, Local Authorities, the NHS), as well as the Private Sector, especially SMEs: architects, estate agents, recruitment agencies.

ULC courses are intensive and structured so that you can effectively fit into a one week course the equivalent of five months attending evening tuition. Learn Polish, or German on a 1-to-1 course or in a small group. Courses are customised, so you learn exactly what you need.
