How it works

Export Communications Review Consultants are experienced in carrying out a detailed independent audit of your current communications with overseas customers - and making practical recommendations for improvement.

They will:
- evaluate the way you currently present your company and its products or services;
- help you to increase your competitiveness and marketability overseas;
- give you confidence to exploit export opportunities;
- recommend practical improvements to match the resources you have available.

Criteria/How to apply

Your company must:

  • Have fewer than 250 employees
  • Be UK-based with products mostly of UK origin.
  • Have been in existence for over 2 years
  • Be currently exporting or planning to export.

 

An initial consultation with an ECR consultant costs £500 plus VAT, (£587.50 inc. VAT). UK Trade and Investment provides a subsidy of £350, so that it costs only £237.50 (inc. VAT). Everything is tailored towards your company's individual needs. Further support may be available towards the cost of a more detailed review, which can be purchased in stages to meet your needs.
